Bedfield and Monk Soham Garden Club
We hold informal, friendly, monthly meetings and respond to our members’ suggestions in developing a wide range of activities, for example, outings, demonstrations and talks on any number of subjects including soil, vegetables, flowers, wildlife and the natural environment. We have created, and maintain, a wildlife meadow for the community.
The club runs a successful plant stall for the community, and supports village events, whether for fun or for charity. We also share in activities with other local clubs, and have a friendly website group.
We warmly welcome any interested folk regardless of gardening knowledge or experience.
The first stirrings of the daffodils we planted on our roadside verges are just beginning to show through for another year, always an encouraging sight.
Similarly, we are looking forward to an exciting programme in 2025. We begin with our March meeting on March 25th, afternoon, at The Meadow Patch in Worlingworth, the subject is ‘Flower bulbs throughout the year’, with the opportunity to plant up some rooted bulbs. We look forward to returning to such a local gem after our very enjoyable time last year amongst the herbaceous beds.
Our membership fees remain at a bargain price. Annual single membership is just £15, £25 a couple. We look forward very much to welcoming you. For further information about our club and any events, please contact
