The High Suffolk Community Bus service was established over 30 years ago and provides transport for the residents primarily of Bedfield, Bedingfield, Kenton, Monk Soham, Redlingfield, Southolt, Tannington and Worlingworth.

It runs as a ‘not for profit’ company. All of the drivers and the members of the management committee are unpaid volunteers.

Currently the bus provides weekly services to Framlingham, Stowmarket and Diss, and twice monthly services to Bury St Edmunds, Norwich and Ipswich.
There is also a service to Lowestoft in the summer months.

For all the services Free Travel Bus Passes are accepted. Timetables detailing routes and timings can be found on the website below.
Passengers can be picked up anywhere along the stated routes. The drivers all take pride in returning passengers as close to their front doors as is possible and are able to help with baskets and trolleys.

The bus is also available for private hire – Alan Nette-Thomas, 01728 685694, John Ridgwell (operations) 01728 627181.
